About EETS

What is EETS?

EETS is the AI-enabled restaurant platform from Spark Mithila that speaks your staff’s language. It connects table management, order taking, kitchen display, GST billing and reporting in one system, with a staff interface in English, Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi and Marathi.

Can EETS be used by a café or cloud kitchen, not just a full-service restaurant?

Yes. EETS supports full-service restaurants with table management, cafés and quick-service counters using Quick POS, and cloud kitchens using the order and kitchen queue without table management.

Which languages does EETS support?

The EETS staff interface is available today in English, Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi and Marathi, set per device. Maithili, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Tamil and Telugu are coming soon.

How does EETS use AI?

Only where it removes real friction. Voice ordering and AI menu import from a photo are live today. Both suggest, and staff confirm before anything is saved. AI inputs may be processed by external service providers outside India. Everything else in EETS, including billing, GST and the kitchen display, works without AI.

Can different staff use EETS in different languages?

Yes. The display language is a per-device setting, so the kitchen screen can show Hindi while the counter uses English, for example. Bills and menu item names use the text your restaurant enters.

Features

Does EETS work without internet?

Yes. Staff can continue browsing the menu, adding items and saving orders during a temporary connection loss; pending work syncs automatically once the connection is restored.

Does EETS support GST billing?

Yes. EETS generates GST-ready invoices using each restaurant’s configured tax rates, for both kitchen-routed orders and direct Quick POS counter bills.

Does EETS support UPI payments and receipt printing?

Yes. Staff record cash, UPI, card or split payments against each bill, can add a UPI payment QR to the bill, and print receipts and KOT slips on thermal printers.

Does EETS include inventory management?

Yes, on Café Pro, Dine and Dine Pro. Add ingredients and recipes, and EETS deducts stock automatically as orders are placed, including offline bills once they sync. Record purchases, wastage and physical counts, get low-stock alerts, and see usage, wastage and actual-versus-expected reports. You can start with a CSV import, or track bottled drinks and desserts directly without recipes. Purchase orders and supplier management are not included yet.

Do guests need to download an app to order by QR code?

No app-store download is needed. Scanning the table QR opens the menu in the phone’s browser, and anyone can browse it. To place an order, the guest adds the restaurant’s EETS menu to their home screen in one step, with no OTP or password. QR ordering is available where the restaurant enables it.

Pricing and getting started

How much does EETS cost?

EETS is a subscription with four plans: EETS Café at ₹999 a month, Café Pro and Dine at ₹1,299 a month, and Dine Pro at ₹1,799 a month. Paying yearly saves about two months on every plan. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.

How do we get started with EETS?

Start by booking a demo by phone or email. After that, the Spark Mithila team sets up your restaurant account and sends your admin an invite. A setup guide inside EETS then walks the admin through the restaurant profile and GSTIN, billing defaults, tables, the menu (added item by item or imported from a CSV file) and staff invites.

What hardware do we need, and which printers work?

EETS runs in a web browser, so staff can use the phones, tablets and computers you already have, and it can be installed as an app from the browser. Receipts and KOT slips print on thermal printers installed on the counter computer (Windows, macOS or Linux), and A4 bills are supported too. For one-click printing without a print dialog, the counter computer runs QZ Tray; otherwise the browser’s print dialog is used.

What happens to our restaurant’s data?

Each restaurant’s menu, orders, invoices and customer records are kept separate from every other restaurant’s in EETS, and your staff see only your restaurant’s data. AI inputs may be processed by external service providers outside India. For details on data ownership, retention, subprocessors and exports, ask us before you sign up and we’ll walk you through it.

AI features and roadmap

Is voice ordering available in EETS?

Yes. Voice ordering is live on the Café Pro and Dine Pro plans. Staff speak the order and EETS lists the items it recognized: on the counter POS they are added straight to the bill, and for tables a waiter checks them before the order goes to the kitchen. It understands English, Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi and Marathi.

Can I import my menu from a photo?

Yes, on all plans. Photograph your printed menu, and EETS drafts the items and prices for you to review and edit before saving. You can also add items one by one or import them from a CSV file.

Is the EETS Table Display Experience available?

Table Display Experience is a coming-soon concept for non-touch table displays; it is not yet a released feature.
