Account and restaurant information
This can include names, email addresses, phone numbers, roles, restaurant details, menus, prices, tax configuration and other information used to set up and operate a restaurant account.
This policy explains how Spark Mithila handles personal information when you use EETS, our website or related support services.
Last updated: 6 November 2026
EETS is restaurant POS and operations software. We use information to provide and secure the service, support restaurants and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. Some optional AI features use the processors named below.
EETS is provided by Spark Mithila. This policy covers the EETS marketing site, restaurant application, customer-facing ordering features and support interactions.
A restaurant using EETS remains responsible for its own relationship with its staff and customers, including deciding what information it enters into EETS and giving any notices or obtaining any permissions required for that information.
This can include names, email addresses, phone numbers, roles, restaurant details, menus, prices, tax configuration and other information used to set up and operate a restaurant account.
This can include orders, bills, payment records, GST-ready invoice details, inventory records, customer loyalty information, staff activity and reports.
A restaurant may enter customer names, phone numbers and order details. We also process messages, contact details and other information you give when you request a demo or contact support.
We process technical and usage information needed to operate, protect and improve the service, such as browser or device information, IP address, logs and service interactions.
EETS offers optional voice ordering, voice menu entry and AI menu import. Staff review AI suggestions before saving them. These features need an internet connection.
Depending on the feature, this may include order audio, transcripts, restaurant menu context, a photo of a printed menu and spoken customer details. Do not use AI features to submit information you are not authorised to share.
Sarvam AI is used for speech-to-text. If Sarvam is unavailable or not configured, AssemblyAI is the fallback. AssemblyAI may process audio and transcripts outside India; EETS requests deletion of the AssemblyAI audio and transcript after use.
Amazon Bedrock is used for AI structuring and as a menu-image fallback. Google Gemini is used for menu-image import and may be used as a text-processing fallback. Groq may be used as the final text-processing fallback.
The Gemini and Groq fallback paths can process transcripts, menu context and spoken customer details outside India. Processor availability and routing can change to keep a requested AI feature working; this policy will be updated if the processing changes in a material way.
We share information only as needed to provide, secure and support EETS, comply with law, or respond to a valid legal request. This can include service providers that host or operate parts of the service, the AI processors described above, and professional advisers where necessary. We do not sell personal information.
We retain information for as long as it is needed to provide EETS, resolve disputes, meet legal or record-keeping obligations, and protect the service. The exact period can depend on the kind of information and the restaurant's use of EETS.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Subject to applicable law, you may ask about personal information relating to you, request correction or deletion, withdraw an optional permission, or raise a privacy concern. If you are a restaurant customer or staff member, please contact the restaurant first; it is usually best placed to action requests about information it controls.
For requests concerning Spark Mithila's handling of information, email customer.support@sparkmithila.com with enough detail for us to identify and respond to the request safely.
We may update this policy when our service or legal obligations change. The current version will always be available on this page with its revision date.
