QR ordering

QR code table ordering for restaurants

Where the restaurant enables QR ordering, guests scan the QR code on their table to browse the menu, place an order, track it and call staff from their own phone. Their orders go straight into the same kitchen queue and table bill your staff already use.

How it works

From scan to served

Every table has its own QR code, so each guest order is tied to the right table and area automatically.

  1. Scan the table QR

The guest scans the code with their phone camera and the menu opens in the browser, showing the restaurant, table and area.

  2. Browse the menu

Anyone at the table can browse categories and items, with photos where the restaurant has added them.

  3. Add EETS to the home screen

To place an order, the guest adds the restaurant’s EETS menu to their home screen from the Get App tab. No app-store download, no OTP and no password.

  4. Order, track and call staff

The order goes to the kitchen queue. Guests can follow its status, see the table’s running bill and tap Call Staff when they need help.

What’s included

Built around the table, not just the menu

Table-specific QR codes

Staff generate a QR code for each table from the tables screen, ready to print and place on the table.

Shared table view

The Orders tab shows every order placed at the table during the current sitting, whoever placed it.

One combined bill

Orders from the table’s guests and its waiter come together on one invoice for that sitting.

Call Staff button

Guests can ask for help from their phone without waving down a waiter.

Same kitchen workflow

QR orders appear in the same kitchen queue as waiter orders, attached to their table.

Optional rewards

If the restaurant runs a rewards programme in EETS, guests can see their progress in the Rewards tab.

What to know

  • QR ordering is available where the restaurant enables it. Waiter ordering keeps working either way.
  • Guests can browse without installing anything; placing an order needs the one-tap home-screen install.
  • Home-screen install and notifications depend on the guest’s phone and browser supporting them.
  • A non-touch Table Display Experience for tables is a Coming Soon product concept, not a released feature.

We’ll show you the guest’s view and your staff’s view of the same QR order, from scan to bill.
